1Packing for the Wrong Weather

Europe’s climate varies greatly—even in summer. A sunny morning in Amsterdam could turn rainy by afternoon. Similarly, it might still be chilly in northern regions when it’s beach weather in the south.

What to do instead: Check the weather for each destination before you go, and pack layers. A compact umbrella or light jacket can save the day. Don’t assume “Europe in June” means the same thing everywhere.
