1Cape Tribulation, Australia

Australia’s Cape Tribulation in Queensland is where two natural wonders—the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest—meet, but it’s also where danger lurks. The waters here are home to numerous deadly creatures, including box jellyfish, whose venomous stings can be fatal. Saltwater crocodiles also inhabit the area, making swimming extremely dangerous. Visitors are strongly advised to stay out of the water, particularly during jellyfish season from November to May. Even walking along the shore requires caution due to the presence of crocodiles in the region.
