9Samburu National Reserve, Kenya

While Kenya’s Maasai Mara draws most safari-goers, Samburu National Reserve offers a quieter, equally breathtaking wildlife experience. Located in northern Kenya, Samburu is home to unique wildlife, including Grevy’s zebras, Somali ostriches, and reticulated giraffes, which are rarely seen in other parts of Kenya. Samburu is less crowded than the Mara, allowing for a more intimate encounter with Kenya’s diverse fauna and landscape.
