3The Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center
Although many consider the Top of the Rock to be an excellent observation deck, it can also be seen as a tourist trap due to its high price tag and the sometimes overwhelming crowds. While the views of Central Park and the Empire State Building are stunning, the experience can feel rushed.
Why It’s a Trap: Instead of fighting the crowds at peak times, consider visiting early in the morning or later in the evening. Alternatively, enjoy views of the city from other locations that might not be as crowded, such as the Brooklyn Bridge.
