7Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe
The Champs-Élysées is one of the world’s most famous avenues, stretching from the Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe. Lined with luxury shops, cafes, and theaters, the avenue is the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll or enjoy a coffee while people-watching. At the western end of the avenue stands the Arc de Triomphe, commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 to honor the French army. You can climb to the top of the Arc for a stunning view of the Champs-Élysées and the surrounding city, especially at sunset.
