Bonifacio, located on the southern tip of the French island of Corsica, is a stunning medieval town perched on high limestone cliffs that drop dramatically into the Mediterranean Sea.

The cliff-top town appears to almost hover above the sea, with some houses extending right to the edge of the cliff.
