3HMHS Britannic Wreck, Greece
The HMHS Britannic, the sister ship of the Titanic, lies on the seabed in the Aegean Sea near the coast of Greece. After striking a mine during World War I, the Britannic sank to a depth of over 120 meters (400 feet). The wreck is one of the largest and most famous shipwrecks in the world, attracting technical divers looking to explore its massive structure.
Diving the Britannic is extremely dangerous due to its depth, which requires specialized equipment and training in deep-sea diving and decompression techniques. Strong currents and the potential for equipment failure add to the risks, making this a dive site only for highly experienced technical divers.
