3Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks
Located in the southern Sierra Nevada, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are home to some of the largest trees on Earth, including the famous General Sherman Tree, the largest living tree by volume. The parks’ dramatic landscapes include towering sequoia groves, deep canyons, and rugged mountains. Moro Rock offers panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada, while Kings Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in North America, is a hiker’s paradise. The parks are particularly stunning in the fall when the foliage changes color, adding a vibrant contrast to the massive trees.
