2Nasir al-Mulk Mosque – Shiraz, Iran

Known as the Pink Mosque due to the extensive use of pink tiles in its interior design, the Nasir al-Mulk Mosque in Shiraz is one of the most visually stunning mosques in the world. Built during the Qajar dynasty between 1876 and 1888, this mosque is famous for its stained glass windows that create a kaleidoscope of colors when sunlight passes through them.

The mosque’s façade is adorned with detailed tile work, but it is the interior that truly mesmerizes visitors. The rows of stained glass, combined with the multicolored Persian carpets, create a dreamlike atmosphere. In the early morning, the sunlight streaming through the stained glass creates a vibrant mosaic of colors on the mosque’s floor, walls, and ceilings, turning the space into a breathtaking rainbow of light.
