8Mount Everest, Nepal

Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in the world, is a dream destination for adventurers and mountaineers alike. Towering at 8,848 meters (29,029 feet), it symbolizes the ultimate conquest of nature. However, the journey to the summit is fraught with danger. Extreme altitude, unpredictable weather, and challenging terrain contribute to the high fatality rate. More than 300 people have lost their lives attempting to reach the summit, often due to avalanches, falls, and altitude sickness. The notorious “Death Zone” above 8,000 meters is particularly hazardous, where oxygen levels are dangerously low, making every step a battle for survival. Bodies of fallen climbers often remain on the mountain, serving as grim reminders of the risks involved.
