3Frankfurt Christmas Market
Frankfurt’s Christmas market is one of the largest in Germany, set against the medieval buildings of Römerberg square and St. Paul’s Church. Famous for its enormous Christmas tree and historic feel, it’s an excellent place to experience traditional German Christmas treats such as Bethmännchen (marzipan cookies) and Quetschemännchen (fig men). The market’s central location also makes it easy to explore the city’s historic center while soaking in the holiday atmosphere.
