Often less frequented due to its location, Leptis Magna is one of the most striking and well-preserved Roman cities in the Mediterranean.

Originally a Phoenician city, it was incorporated into the Roman Empire and became a prominent city. Its ruins, including a vast forum, triumphal arch, and amphitheater, are spectacular.
