Shalimar Bagh, located in Lahore, is one of the most impressive Mughal gardens in the world. Commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1641, the garden is a magnificent example of Mughal architecture and landscape design, which were heavily influenced by Persian and Islamic styles.

The garden is arranged in a traditional charbagh layout, divided into four sections by water channels. Fountains, pavilions, and terraces adorn the garden, while pathways are lined with fragrant flowers, fruit trees, and cypresses. The cascading water features, reflecting pools, and the meticulously planned landscape make Shalimar Bagh a visual delight and a symbol of Mughal grandeur.
