Located in the Extremadura region of western Spain, the Jerte Valley becomes a sea of white in early spring as more than 2 million cherry trees bloom simultaneously. Known locally as Cerezo en Flor, this spectacular event typically occurs from late March to early April and lasts for about two weeks.
