La Madeleine Church, the stunning Neo-Classical church near Place de la Concorde, hosts several holiday concerts featuring both local and international musicians. The Saint-Germain-des-Prés Church, one of the oldest churches in Paris, also hosts beautiful Christmas concerts.
A truly unique experience is attending midnight mass on Christmas Eve at Notre-Dame Cathedral (once the restoration is complete). This historic cathedral, which has witnessed centuries of French history, is awe-inspiring any time of year but takes on a special reverence during the Christmas season. Even if Notre-Dame is still undergoing renovations, many other churches in Paris offer midnight services, including the Saint-Sulpice Church and the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre, where you can also catch views of the city’s twinkling lights.
