The market sprawls across multiple squares in the city’s historic center, with the majestic Strasbourg Cathedral serving as its backdrop.
The market features more than 300 wooden chalets offering a variety of festive goods, including handcrafted ornaments, toys, and traditional Alsatian delicacies such as bredele (Christmas cookies) and flammekueche (an Alsatian-style pizza). Visitors can also sip on vin chaud (mulled wine) as they explore the twinkling lights and festive decorations that adorn the city.
