4Lübeck

Lübeck, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is one of the most beautiful medieval towns in northern Germany. Known for its brick Gothic architecture, Lübeck was once a major trading city and a key member of the Hanseatic League.

The Holstentor gate is one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. Lübeck is also famous for its marzipan, and visitors can stop by Niederegger Café to sample this local delicacy.
