The Homhil Protected Area is a must-visit for those interested in Socotra’s unique flora and fauna. In addition to the famous Dragon’s Blood Trees, Homhil is home to several other endemic species, including the bottle tree (Adenium obesum socotranum), known for its swollen trunk that stores water. The area is crisscrossed with hiking trails that lead to stunning viewpoints, small villages, and natural freshwater pools overlooking the Arabian Sea. The “natural infinity pool” is a highlight, where you can swim in crystal-clear waters with panoramic views of the sea stretching below.
