10Rakotzbrücke (Devil’s Bridge), Saxony
Tucked away in the Kromlau Park in Saxony, Rakotzbrücke is a stunning stone bridge built in the 19th century, designed to form a perfect circle when reflected in the water below. This visually striking optical illusion has earned it the nickname “Devil’s Bridge,” as it was once believed such impressive feats of engineering could only be accomplished with the help of dark forces. While you can’t walk on the bridge, the view of it framed by lush greenery and reflected in the lake is breathtaking and makes it a photographer’s dream.
