7Prospect Park
Often considered Brooklyn’s answer to Central Park, Prospect Park is a haven for fall photographers. The 585-acre park was also designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, the same architects behind Central Park, and it offers equally beautiful, yet more serene, autumn landscapes.
The Long Meadow and Nethermead provide sweeping expanses of grass surrounded by trees that change to vibrant hues. Prospect Park Lake and the Boathouse are other picturesque spots to capture fall reflections on the water. The quiet beauty of this park is perfect for intimate fall shots away from the crowds.
