9The High Line

Elevated above the streets of Manhattan, the High Line is an urban park that stretches for 1.45 miles along a historic rail line. In fall, the park is alive with native grasses, wildflowers, and trees that burst into seasonal colors. The unique combination of nature and industrial architecture provides a striking contrast, making it a fantastic spot for fall photography.

The section between 20th and 23rd Streets is particularly photogenic, with tall golden grasses and views of the city skyline. The High Line also offers glimpses of the Hudson River, making sunset shots a must for capturing fall’s soft golden light.
