9Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar

The Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon is one of Myanmar’s most revered and striking landmarks. This golden stupa, standing nearly 100 meters tall, is covered in gold leaf and encrusted with diamonds and other precious stones.

According to legend, it contains relics of four Buddhas, making it a major pilgrimage site. The pagoda’s luminous presence, especially when illuminated at night, offers a mesmerizing view.
