The memorial, located at the World Trade Center site, features two large reflecting pools set in the footprints of the Twin Towers. The names of the nearly 3,000 victims are inscribed around the pools, offering a place for reflection and remembrance. The memorial is open to the public for free, and its beautiful design is both moving and tranquil. The adjacent 9/11 Museum does have an entrance fee, but the memorial itself is free to visit.
